So you’re saying that you would buy a Pentium IV for exacly the same price a Dual Core I5 and then just lower the settings for crysis 2(wich you wouldn’t be able to run)? I think your completly missing the point. You pay the same for different hardware and software. Where’s multitasking? You know it’s easy for a phone to behave well when it doesn’t have multitasking.
What in the world? Two different ecosystems for one thing. Its no different from lowering the graphics setting when playing a game…. If your comp can’t handle it on high… tune it down….
How’s that relevant? And by the way, I’m still waiting for the Crysis 2 optimzed to run on my computer then….

Wait so are you basing your phone off the windows phone? That’s not even remotely smart to bring up that comparison. Devs will optimize the game as much as possible to run the game smooth as possible. They don’t just port over ” Dead trigger” and leave it there. Its reworked to work for that lame single core and 512mb of ram.

Lol you dont know anything about os. Android needs way less processor than windows…..There are android phones that run in basic use with 600mhz processor when windows needs at least 1ghz processor….Lumia 610 has 800 mhz and its almost unusable……

I have both phones an I like them both, but the building quality of the Lumia is much better and I don’t like Android. Because of this I prefer the Lumia 800.

Really? Because in my country you pay exacly the same for the Lumia 900 and SGSII. Most android phones don’t have dual cores or quad cores… Search for galaxy gio sony ericson xperia s. Windows on the other hand need at least a single core 1Ghz to run. How smooth would it be with, let’s say, LG Maximo L3 or Galaxy Gio or Huawei U8510. Just check a video watch ? v = XeV4lazb630

Galaxy Gio has 800MHz. It runs as smoth as my Galaxy S II… However throw a game like Dead Trigger or some HD game and it will not run… The same will happen with the Windows in this phone. How about you ponting some facts? Both android and windows 7.5 need ARM based chipset wich means that its the same… Well it should. Windows will need an 1GHZ to run. My phone runs like butter. So you either lie to win a debate or you bought a windows phone, and now you’re trying to fool yourself.
We are talking about phones ! Samsung s2 has a dual core, because if it was a single core it would have more, more lag than this days. Nokia lumia doesn’t need a dual core, because the operating system is less resources consuming for every thing that it does. I see people “plaing” on their s2 and things are too laggy. And we get to the same point: if s2 had a single core it would have the slowest OS (betwen lumia and s2). I don’t talk relally about the dual core or not dual, i’m talking about OS
That’s got to be the smartest statement I’ve ever heard. You should be in marketing! However…. You really think that having a single core pc is better then a dual/quad core? You would really pay the same thing for a single core?
