They probably have standards for Windows Phone 8 that the Lumia fails to provide. That’s why they try to give u the same features in Windows Phone 7.8.
Am I the only one that thinks it’s weird that alot videos like this talk about multimedia, camera, web browsing and all that good stuff BUT they hardly ever talk about what makes it be considered a phone…..TALKING AND TEXTING!?
Windows Phone 7 sure has potential, but why the hell did Microsoft decide to not let the Lumia phones to be upgradeable to Windows Phone 8? It’s ridiculous as for example Lumia 900 is more than powerful enough to run it.

i meant to say OS but it still makes no difference. apple makes more profit per unit on OS compared to Microsoft.
also you are wrong to think apple would make less profit if it only sold the OS.
why does apple make lots of profits?
if has the most organised set of software from the OS found on its computers, ipad, iphone, ipod to its apps market. all these products link together because of wonderful software. the hardware simply helps to increase its sex appeal.
its all about software.
@Matteo Morato So what if it doesn’t charge if it is off? What difference does it make, how often do you turn off your phone when you charge it. And as for the “Shitty Cloud Storage” That is completely baked into the OS (picture hub, contacts, office, etc.) and for existing users you get 25GB and new users get 7GB that is more than Apple or Google give. And, uh, not sure if you noticed but in the Mac app store there is a Windows Phone sync app. And you can’t code iOS on anything but a Mac…

Microsoft sales more computers then apple but Apple makes more profit per unit on each computer it sales.
Apple has a higher marker value then microsoft.
