I’m going to see this because Aaron Johnson is in it…. even if I don’t like what Joe Wright did to his hair. These innovative, “outside the box” directors always have reasons for what they do.

  2. ivan09193 says:

No. Fake Russian accents are an abomination, and badly spoken Russian is worse than none at all. There are plenty of Russian adaptations with subtitles to watch.

  3. ebbsislove93 says:

lol this director must love mr. darcy (the actor) and ms. knightley

  4. ebbsislove93 says:

aaron johnson is involved that’s how lmao

  5. antalya1705 says:

At that point Vronkij becomes the Romantic hero, which I can see him as, and casting a really young Anna makes sense. But I do agree that Knightley has only two expressions (pouting, and not pouting) so I wish they’d taken someone like Abbie Cornish, who is roughly that physical type if that is what they wanted, but has a nice range.

  6. antalya1705 says:

I think it depends on what they were trying to do. I really didn’t like Johnson either (my favourite Vronskij remains Sean Bean) but the more I watch this the more I think they were trying to show the two of them not as middle aged and in a midlife crisis, like in the book, but as young people full of romantic notions and caught in the fall of an ancient system of values. (Very Stoppard of course. :P )

    hurt!

  10. splahx says:

no, you don’t say, really? xD

  11. splahx says:

hahahaha her portrayals of characters tend to be similar… who do you think should’ve been Anna?
I hate Aaron Johnson for Vronsky…

  12. MsLiooo says:

  13. pucis111 says:

  24. antalya1705 says:

It could be if only they hadn’t cast Keira Knightley #fromsomeonewhoreadthebooktoo

  25. splahx says:

well… that’s no news. People who read books that get turned into movies often hate the results, hence why I posted it like that. you have every right to dislike the movie… obviously. :)

  26. SilviCullen09 says:

    This looks sooo epic .

  27. PinkBear says:

I plan to see this movie because Aaron Johnson is in it. I think he’ll be great but I don’t like how Joe Wright dyed Aaron’s hair blonde. I guess these “outside the box” innovative directors have reasons for what they do.
