Mojave Sub Santa Fe Meet – Trainz 2012

EDIT (8/13/11): It has become apparent to me that there are certain people in the YouTube community that have a distaste towards Trainz and its software, and have decided to express that via comments. From here on out, all comments will require approval. If they do not contain some form of constructive criticism, helpful notes, or compliment on the video itself or the software, they will be deleted. YouTube is not a battleground for foamers, it’s a place where we can share videos. You have a right to your free speech, but do it in a more appropriate medium. Thanks. —- This video demonstrates the “3D Sound” featured in Trainz Railroad Simulator 2012. An eastbound Auto Train meets up with a westbound Road Railer.

I was running my custom rig with the i5-760, 4GB RAM, and a GTX 560 Ti
Nice Video. What kind Computer do you have? I’m looking a new *updated* computer to run TS2010 & TS2012 Without it lagging so badly, like on the computer I have now.
correct…i basically set my camera there, and hopefully my trains will both meet up at the same time. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.
hmm so basically u wait their for train to arrive?
i am thinking about getting trs2012 does it have a car factorie and with this game what engines come with the game
They should be!
are those autoracks defalt ?
Patience pays off for those who wait =] I can’t believe it either myself!
You have no idea how glad I am that Auran finally considered a Doppler effect.
To make the video, you use software?
If so, which?
(Sorry if my English is bad) –’
…?
How to shoot you so long?
I am looking to no avail.
i have a few of those gates that i think i downloaded with a route and they dont work for me … and cool video
all of the crossing gates were made by bnsf50. just go do a content search in surveyor.
level crossings?
I’m pretty sure I took this one on my desktop. i5 quad core, 4GB of RAM, and a 1GB GTX 560 Ti. I’d say it could use some more RAM, but I like the performance, especially with FRAPS on.
The HD is nothing special, just merely the resolution I have it set to in game. I cropped it to 720p standards from 1680×1050 gameplay. Thanks for the comment!
I need Help! What Are The Crossing Gates Called!?!
Finally, what Trainz needed after all these years that MSTS and Rail Simulator/Railworks have…THE DOPPLER EFFECT!!! Also not to mention, looks as though they’ve also improved the lighting and rendering of the game as well. Too bad I don’t have the $50 to get it right now, and I just got TS2010 about five months ago!!!
How are they in trs 2012? Is it the same or a little better? Please excuse me if im bothering or annoying you, but i want to find out if I should spend $50.00 on it. And will the DLS make things for 2012 anytime soon? Please excuse me again if im bothering you.
I don’t know about crooked, but the jagged edges are there for a reason…poly count. It may not be perfectly round, but if you get perfectly round trucks, you sacrifice poly count which affects gaming performance, etc. So most creators will make it as rounded as possible where it will look round from a distance but up close it will look jagged.
They seem to be jagged when you run them….if you look at trs 2006 vids some of them have crooked wheels. And this game looks very very cool, Im gonna buy it and thanks for posting this video because this video was the first time i saw trs 12

I never personally concentrated on the wheels in 06, nor did I in 12. I don’t know what you mean by messed up.
Hey Dude, in the game does the wheels of the train appear odd like in 06? Like the wheels look all messed up.
yea that be fun but anyways inverse….
