Exactly my point. Assassin’s Creed is my favorite franchise for good reason but I am a little worried that they will try to do too much. I have faith in them though.

I didn’t like any of the AC 2 games that much they were medicore to me because they felt the same. But this looks really good. Newer ways to kill people is what caught my eye.
To be honest I really don’t like Connor as the protagonist, as much as I thought I would have. He seems so formal and unnatural. Ezio had more of a natural and classy feel, with the way he spoke and everything. But Connor seems too strict and not a very fun character.
I can’t wait to see Desmonds story! I love it when they leave him out of the previews so that it could be a little surprise for everyone when they play it.
It was a revolt of colonists. It may have been British citizens, but the land was British territory, not necessarily official governed land. Besides, Revolutions and Civil Wars are essentially the same. Also, I only hate unnecessary and ridiculous taxes. There are some taxes that are essential to funding a government for basic needs.
you should get to pick sides at the beginning, british or american.Also Americans, it wasn’t an “American Revolution” it was a civil war. British citizens against those bloody tax enforcers. to be honest i would have revolted too, i hate tax
nah we wont, its a good game… its purely fictional, you only won the war because france invaded us, so we had to choose to either fight them off and risk losing the colonies, or lose the homeland
oh no, he is killing the Templars like he did is the first 4 games, except people aren’t bitching this time. oh no, now the Templars are British? the British didn’t do anything wrong. except maybe claim land they didn’t own, rape and kill Native Americans, use chemical warfare against the Native Americans in a attempt to take land that wasn’t theirs,… God forbid they teach us what they actually did in history. =(
the only problem I have with the AC games is that the world is ripe for platforming ala PoP style yet the platforming is auto pilot. I wish they would´ve infused serious PoP style platforming into it. This looks no diffrent than previous AC games platforming wise. Such a shame. The game looks beautiful as usual though. A little bit of RPG hunting, looting, etc. added onto the mix would´ve been welcome IMO.
