We have never seen Connor championing the side of the rebels. We have seen him killing templars that is all. We haven’t seen him claiming to be fighting for the colonists, he hasn’t said anything about the colonists being right. In fact in one video he states “they speak of liberty and justice but for whom” making it clear that they are not fighting for everyone’s freedom like he is.
And it shouldn’t be balanced between both sides. They would be killing themselves and that makes no sense.

I’m still worried that this is going to be a ‘kill the brits’ game. Ubisoft touted often that they would show Connor working through the Revolution, but not taking sides within it. However, the only thing they have shown us as consumers is Connor championing the side of the rebels against the crown. It’s a shame they seem to be saving killing rebels as a ‘twist,’ thus perhaps only a small part of the game, when it should be even handed and balanced between the two.
